The BEST lip balms

Alright, so I have been a connoisseur of the highest quality natural products that you can find, slather and ingest for as long as I can remember . . . and now it will be here that I inform and delight whomever desires to know an educated opinion on many things regarding such. So this post is about my favorite lip balms in all there emollient glory. All lip care mentioned has no petroleum ingredients added in order to unsure the maximum protection without causing dependency with use, as well as cruelty and chemical free.

The first is Dr. Hauschka lip care stick. It is in a base of jojoba oil, shea butter, carrot seed oil and beeswax. It is by far the one that I always have on me at all times. Super soft and silky shine. A splurge at $12.99 retail, but worth it!

A great company called Navitas Naturals makes a Cacao lip balm that tastes amazing, like chocolate cacao beans that have been soaking in vanilla. High in antioxidants and very aromatic. Hydration and softness are the key feel to this lip balm. My boyfriends favorite. Very dude friendly - no shine with non girly packaging. $3.99 retail

Weleda Everon Lip balm is a lip balm that you can put on and realize an hour later that it is still protecting and keeping your lips moisturized. The beeswax and shea butter are key in being the protective but non waxy feel. My favorite for super cold, dry winter days. Oh, and who wouldn't want to inhale scents of rose and vanilla! $4.99 retail.

John Master Lip Calm is infused with essential oils of tangerine, lime and vanilla in a base of avocado, shea and kukui nut oils. Local to NYC and always a great addition to your satchel! $5.99 retail.

Enjoy!
